Description
Perlite is natural aeration for soils and soilless mixes, created naturally by the hydration of obsidian. The obsidian ore is superheated in our state of the art furnace and popped like popcorn, after which it is filtered through many different screens to allow Aurora Innovations to have extreme control over the specific size and consistency of our perlite, which is an amazing stand alone component that we also use for all of our growing media.
